About

đź‘‹ Hello!

I'm Zaid Mukaddam, a self-taught developer and ethical hacker from India. Currently, I am building Scira(Foremerly MiniPerplx), a minimalistic and open-source AI-powered search engine with the goal to provide a minimalistic and privacy-focused search experience.

I'm fascinated by the interplay between technology and our daily lives—how it reshapes our world and how we, in turn, influence its future development.

My Journey #

My passion for digital design and web technologies began with a desire to create impressive projects, which initially went wrong. Despite frustration and confusion, my curiosity and determination led me to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I was immediately hooked by the power and possibilities of the web.

I was particularly drawn to the idea that I could create something visible to anyone in the world. My journey involved :

  • Learning the basics of web technologies (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • Experimenting with design principles (Enhancing visual appeal and user experience)
  • Exploring advanced frameworks and tools (React, Next.js, Tailwind, and Shadcn UI)
  • Building and refining projects (Continuously improving through trial and error)

These experiences, driven by passionate curiosity and continuous self-learning, nurtured my love for both designing feasible solutions and developing with good design principles.

Beyond work #

Outside of history, you'll find me:

  • Listening to a diverse range of music, including indie, R&B, bollywood and hip hop. Seeking emotional connections through music.
  • Enjoying TV shows and films that bring genuine smiles to my face.
  • Reading books, primarily non-fiction—a habit I picked up that has been incredibly refreshing.

Feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss design, technology, or any of my interests!
